JMCC Life Skills

Our Transition to Adulthood program helps at-risk youth ages 14-19 graduate from high school, assists them in furthering their education through secondary education or vocational training, supports them in developing critical life skills, and we will continue to offer them food, basic necessities, and clothing as needed. Foster & adopted teens and their youth siblings are encouraged to attend.

LIFE STARTS NOW - HEALING THROUGH ARTS SERIES

JMCC invites youth and adult volunteers to help us paint a mural on our 40 ft. pod. This is a four month life skills class in which youth impacted by foster care will be painting a mural. This event will give youth the opportunity to be creative. When completed, the mural will be something they'll be able to come back to and visit for many years to come. Adults are encouraged to volunteer to assist with this project. A special thank you to artist Nick Kowalski for his willingness to give of his time and talents.

Please bring a paint brush and/or a small paint roller frame and roller if you have one. Paint will be available. If you happen to have a ladder and some old towels or rags, be sure to bring those as well.

Financial Support: Donate for FREE and make a huge impact in the lives of a foster children by making a monetary donation to help offset the expenses of paint, painting supplies and spray paint. Click HERE to make a donation.
